Knowledge derived from study experience or instructions
ICT: The use of information in order to meet human need or purpose including reference to the use of contemporary devices such as the Internet.
Communication: Communication is the process of sharing data, programs, and information between two or more computers.
Network: A network is a group of two or more computer systems linked together so that they can share resources (hardware, software & data) and can communicate with one another.
Topology : Its the configuration of a network & includes nodes & lines.
Routers are small physical devices that join multiple networks together.
Nodes: A Node is a connection point, either a redistribution point or an end point for data transmissions.
Wireless Network: Wireless network is a network set up by using radio signal frequency to communicate among computers and other network devices.Actually, wireless network refers to any type of computer network that is not connected by cables of any kind.
Local area network (LAN): Networks in the nodes that are in close physical proximity –within the same building, for instance- are called local area networks (LANs).Typically, LANs span distance less than a mile .LANs are widely used by schools, colleges, universities & other type of organizations to link microcomputers and to share printers & other resources.
Back up policy : Back-ups of critical data should be performed on a regular basis. A full copy of all files is taken (can use CD-R, magnetic tape, etc.) Usual technique is to keep 3 generations of back-ups (today's, yesterday's and the day be fore’s). This is the grandfather, father, son system.
Artificial Intelligence:Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the attempt to simulate the human brain, and its thought processes, using computer hardware and software.
Expert System: Expert systems use AI techniques to replace a human expert. All of the human's knowledge on a subject is entered into the computer as a series of rules.
